叙利亚卡米什利连环炸弹导致52人死亡

周三,连环爆炸震动了叙利亚北部卡米什利市,至少52人死亡,170人受伤。

At least 52 people have been killed and over 170 others wounded after twin bombings rocked the city of Qamishli in northern Syria on Wednesday.

An explosion rocked the border city of Qamishli today in one of the deadliest car bomb attacks the city has seen in years says the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

One hospital official said the hospital is treating around 100 people wounded in the attacks. A rescue crew that was at the scene also tells CCTV more people might still be buried under the rubble of the twin explosions.

ISIL claimed responsibility for the attack that targeted the headquarters of the Kurdish militias, the YPG. The YPG has been spearheading the charge against ISIL militants in northern Syria as part of the operations of the U.S.- led coalition.

Eyewitnesses told CCTV that the first bomb blast came from a motorbike loaded with explosives then a truck followed carrying sheep for camouflage and hundreds of kilograms of explosives underneath.

Meanwhile, the Syrian army was finalizing its operation to impose a full siege of rebel held parts of the city of Aleppo.

If the army manages to continue to maintain the siege of the rebel held part of the city, and this would mean that regaining full control of Syria's largest city it will be only a matter of time but that could also threaten the lives of over 100,000 civilians living in rebel-controlled areas.

This afternoon, the Syrian army issued a statement vowing to maintain safe passage for those wanting to leave and a pardon for fighters putting down their arms.
